Chelidonium majus (Celandine) is a species of biennial herb in the family Papaveraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Melanostoma scalare, Araschnia levana, Andrena haemorrhoa, and Bombus hypnorum. Individuals can grow to 0.52 m.
