Polystichum lonchitis (Holly Fern) is a species of perennial herb in the family wood ferns. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska, Greenland, Canada, and The Contiguous United States. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.22 m. They have alternation of generations.
