Avenella flexuosa (Wavy Hair Grass) is a species of perennial herb in the family true grasses. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Eastern North America, The Contiguous United States, Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, and Greenland. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Dead Wavy Hair Grass form shallow marine sediments. Individuals can grow to 2.6 feet. They have sexual reproduction and asexual reproduction.
