It is a viscid-hairy stout annual plant with simple, or branched stems. Leave are ovate to rhombic, with entire margins or with a few triangular teeth. The upper leaves are narrower, sessile, and shorter than the calyx, and a petiole as long as the lamina. Flowers are with yellow corolla with a purple throat. The fruit is a capsule.
