Cirsium occidentale (Cobwebby Thistle) is a species of biennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Yellow-faced Bumblebee, Callippe Fritillary, Anthophora urbana, and Anna's Hummingbird.
