Wyethia amplexicaulis (Mule Ears) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Western North America, United States, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Polygonia gracilis zephyrus, bees, Mason bees, and Bumble Bees. Individuals can grow to 0.78 m.
