Tridax procumbens (Coatbuttons) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They are climbers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Caatinga, Santa Catarina, Minas Gerais, Cerrado, Rio De Janeiro, Bahia, The Neotropics, Rio Grande Do Norte, SãO Paulo, Paraná, Mato Grosso, Alagoas, Ceará, Pantanal, Mata AtlâNtica, Mato Grosso Do Sul, RondôNia, Espirito Santo, and Pernambuco. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Amegilla candida, Mexican Fritillary, Andaman Crow, and Jamides celeno. Individuals can grow to 0.83 m.
