They are native to Middle America, Guyana, Argentina, Santa Catarina, French Guiana, Rio Grande Do Sul, Canada, Pará, Suriname, United States, The Contiguous United States, SãO Paulo, Mata AtlâNtica, Georgia, Rio De Janeiro, Paraná, Uruguay, Brazil, Rio Grande Do Norte, Guadeloupe, AmazôNia, Atlantic And Gulf Coastal Plain (Agcp), Bahia, Trinidad And Tobago, Espirito Santo, Maranhao, Eastern North America, and Pampa. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Individuals can grow to 3.5 feet.
