Pomsta oregonensis Raf. Fl. Tell. 2 : 66. 1836.
Plants 2.5-11 cm. tall, somewhat glandular-pubescent ; leaf-blades 3-8 mm. long, mainly cuneate to spatulate, 3-toothed or those on the flower-stalks sometimes entire ; flower-stalks sparingly branched above or throughout; sepals ovate or oblong-ovate, 1.5-2.5 mm. long, acute or obtuse; petals cuneate to oblong-cuneate, 3-3.5 mm. long, the claws slender or stout; follicles 3.5-5.5 mm. long.
Type locality : Pyrenees.
Distribution : Rocky Mountains, southern British America to Colorado and Utah ; also in Europe.
