Picris hieracioides (Hawkweed Oxtongue) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Alaska. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Cheilosia vernalis, Dasysyrphus albostriatus, sweat bees, and Mason bees. Individuals can grow to 0.43 m.
