Ratibida columnifera (Mexican Hat) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to United States, The Contiguous United States, Canada, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Burnsius communis, Soapbery Hairstreak, Colpa octomaculata, and Syrphid fly. Individuals can grow to 3.1 feet.
