Petunia atkinsiana (Petunia) is a species of annual herb in the family nightshades. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to South America. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Macroglossum stellatarum, Hemaris thysbe, Manduca sexta, and Melanostoma mellinum.
