Itea virginica (Virginia Sweetspire) is a species of shrub in the family Iteaceae. They are native to Eastern North America and The Contiguous United States. They have white flowers. Flowers are visited by apoid wasp, Eastern Carpenter Bee, and Celastrina idella. Individuals can grow to 10 feet.
