Typha angustifolia (Lesser Bulrush) is a species of perennial grass in the family Typhaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Minas Gerais, GoiáS, Western North America, Paraná, Eastern North America, Canada, Ceará, SãO Paulo, Rio Grande Do Sul, Bahia, United States, Mata AtlâNtica, Santa Catarina, Espirito Santo, Cerrado, The Contiguous United States, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and green flowers. Flowers are visited by Cryptophilus. Individuals can grow to 1.7 m.
