Ocotea cernua is a species of tree in the family Lauraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Espirito Santo, Pará, Mato Grosso, Amapá, AmazôNia, Bahia, Cerrado, Ceará, Acre (Brazil), Mato Grosso Do Sul, and Mata Atlântica. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 18 m.
