Ocotea pulchella is a species of tree in the family Lauraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Santa Catarina, SãO Paulo, Cerrado, GoiáS, Mata Atlântica, Paraná, Espirito Santo, Rio De Janeiro, Distrito Federal, Rio Grande Do Sul, Tocantins, and Minas Gerais. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 12 m.
