Miconia holosericea is a species of tree in the family melastomes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Mata AtlâNtica, AmazôNia, Rio De Janeiro, Piauí, Mato Grosso, Pará, Minas Gerais, ParaíBa, Alagoas, Acre (Brazil), Bahia, Sergipe, Cerrado, Roraima, RondôNia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Maranhao, Espirito Santo, Ceará, Tocantins, GoiáS, Pernambuco, SãO Paulo, Amapá, and Distrito Federal. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 7.8 m.
