Jacaranda copaia is a species of tree in the family bignonias. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to RondôNia, Acre (Brazil), Roraima, Mato Grosso, Maranhao, The Neotropics, Pará, AmazôNia, and Amapá. They have compound, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Individuals can grow to 21 m.
