They are native to Acre (Brazil), Mata Atlântica, Rio De Janeiro, Cerrado, Paraná, Brazil, Distrito Federal, Mato Grosso, Amazônia, SãO Paulo, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Pernambuco, and Minas Gerais. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes.
