Vismia guianensis is a species of tree in the family Hypericaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Amapá, Caatinga, Rio Grande Do Norte, Roraima, Cerrado, Ceará, Piauí, Acre (Brazil), Sergipe, AmazôNia, Pernambuco, Pará, Tocantins, Espirito Santo, GoiáS, ParaíBa, Bahia, Mata AtlâNtica, RondôNia, Alagoas, Mato Grosso, Maranhao, and The Neotropics. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 3.5 m.
