Spathodea campanulata (African Tuliptree) is a species of tree in the family bignonias. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Oiseau-mouche-a-collier, Spectacled parrotlet, Purple Sunbird, and Peter's Dwarf Epauletted Fruit Bat. Individuals can grow to 7.5 m.
