Digitalis purpurea (foxglove) is a herbaceous species of plants in the family Plantaginaceae, with a self-supporting growth habit. It has simple, broad leaves and purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Anna's Hummingbird, Anna's Hummingbird, Pyrobombus Dalla Torre 1880, and small white. It is a photoautotroph.
