Verbascum thapsus (Great Mullein) is a herbaceous species of plants in the family Scrophulariaceae, with a self-supporting growth habit. It has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Two-spotted Bumblebee, Buff-tailed bumblebee, Uranotes, and Scolia nobilitata (Fabricius 1805). It is a photoautotroph.
