Cladium mariscus (Fen Sedge) is a species of perennial grass in the family sedges. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to Rio Grande Do Sul, Puerto Rico, North America, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, Paraná, Mata Atlântica, The Hawaiian Islands, Santa Catarina, Florida, SãO Paulo, Hawaii, Rio De Janeiro, Mato Grosso Do Sul, and Bahia. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Black and Yellow Mud Dauber. Individuals can grow to 1.6 m.
