Cladium mariscus (Fen Sedge) is a species of perennial grass in the family sedges. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is associated with freshwater habitat. Fen Sedge is native to Puerto Rico, the contiguous United States, Hawaii, the Hawaiian Islands, North America, eastern north america, Florida, Mato Grosso do Sul, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Mata Atlântica, Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná, and Bahia. It has simple, broad leaves. It is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 1.6 m.
