Mimulus alatus (Sharpwing Monkeyflower) is a species of perennial herb in the family phrymas. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves, blue flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Teuchocnemis lituratus, Ichneumon ambulatorius, Bean weevil, and Say's Cuckoo-leaf-cutter. Individuals can grow to 2.3 feet.
