Salvia coccinea (Red Sage) is a species of shrub in the family Lamiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Puerto Rico, The Contiguous United States, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Agraulis vanillae incarnata, Honey bee, Palamedes Swallowtail, and Anna's Hummingbird.
