Citharexylum spinosum (Spiny Fiddlewood) is a species of tree in the family Verbenaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to U.S. Virgin Islands, United States, The Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Hispaniola, Lesser Antilles, Greater Antilles, Guyana, The Contiguous United States, Venezuela, The Americas, and Suriname. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Marpesia petreus, Delias eucharis, Apis mellifera, and Cigaritis ictis. Individuals can grow to 12 m.
