Verbena bonariensis (Purpletop Vervain) is a species of annual herb in the family Verbenaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Pampa, Rio Grande Do Sul, and Mata AtlâNtica. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Vanessa cardui, Hylephila phyleus, Red Admiral, and Monarch.
