Solanum sisymbriifolium (Sticky Nightshade) is a species of shrub in the family nightshades. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is associated with freshwater habitat. Sticky Nightshade is native to Paraguay, Uruguay, Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Ecuador, Venezuela, Colombia, São Paulo, Mato Grosso, Cerrado, Pantanal, Espirito Santo, Bahia, Mata Atlântica, Rio de Janeiro, Rondônia, Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraná, Caatinga, Minas Gerais, Pampa, Acre (Brazil), Distrito Federal, Goiás, Santa Catarina, Amazônia, and Rio Grande do Sul. It has broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Ascia monuste automate. Sticky Nightshade is a photoautotroph.
