Petroselinum crispum (parsley) is a herbaceous species of plants in the family Apiaceae, with a self-supporting growth habit. It has simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Black Swallowtail, Black Swallowtail, Buff-tailed bumblebee, and Melangyna novaezelandiae (Macquart 1855). It is a photoautotroph.
