Sanicula graveolens (Northern Sanicle) is a species of perennial herb in the family umbellifers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Prosopochaeta caliginosa, root-maggot flies, and Scaeva melanostoma. Individuals can grow to 4.5 dm.
