Angelica atropurpurea (Purplestem Angelica) is a species of perennial herb in the family umbellifers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, and North America. They have broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Blue Mud Wasp, Northern Paper Wasp, Trachysida mutabilis, and Eristalis flavipes.
