Larrea tridentata (Creosote Bush) is a species of shrub in the family Zygophyllaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to United States, Western North America, North America, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Apis mellifera, Xylocopa californica arizonensis, Hoplitis biscutellae, and Polioptila caerulea. Individuals can grow to 2.1 m.
