Quassia amara (Quassia Wood) is a species of tree in the family Simaroubaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Roraima, AmazôNia, Pará, Amapá, and Maranhao. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 9.9 m.
