Spondias mombin is a species of tree in the family Anacardiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Acre (Brazil), Minas Gerais, AmazôNia, GoiáS, Maranhao, Espirito Santo, Bahia, Roraima, Rio Grande Do Norte, Pará, Distrito Federal, RondôNia, Piauí, Tocantins, Rio De Janeiro, Amapá, Mato Grosso, Ceará, Alagoas, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Mata AtlâNtica, ParaíBa, Cerrado, SãO Paulo, Puerto Rico, Sergipe, and Pernambuco. They have compound, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Braunsapis bouyssoui. Individuals can grow to 31 m.
