Chaenactis glabriuscula (Yellow Pincushion) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Gabb's Checkerspot, White-lined Sphinx, Acmaeodera hepburnii, and Northern Checkerspot. Individuals can grow to 5 dm.
