Chaenactis douglasii (Douglas' Dustymaiden) is a species of biennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Gray Hairstreak, Lapposyrphus lapponicus, and Dianthidium subparvum. Individuals can grow to 1.6 feet.
