Cornus alternifolia (Alternateleaf Dogwood) is a species of shrub in the family dogwoods. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to United States, Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, simple leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Ampedus rubricus, Red Admiral, Canadian Tiger Swallowtail, and bees & apoid Wasps. Individuals can grow to 7.9 m.
