Miconia punctata (Auquey) is a species of tree in the family melastomes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Amazônia, Acre (Brazil), Puerto Rico, RondôNia, Roraima, Mato Grosso, Amapá, and Pará. They have simple, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 19 m.
