They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Western North America, Alaska, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves and green flowers. Flowers are visited by Western White, Boloria freija, and Boloria frigga. Individuals can grow to 8 feet.
