Momordica charantia (Balsampear) is a species of annual herb in the family Cucurbitaceae. They are climbers. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Great Southern White, Syrphid fly, Clouded Skipper, and Honey bee. Individuals can grow to 1.2 m.
