Cucurbita pepo (Summer Squash) is a species of annual herb in the family Cucurbitaceae. They are climbers. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Podabrus tomentosus, American bumble bee, Amobia, and Cerceris rufinoda. Individuals can grow to 4.5 m.
