Cucurbita pepo (Field Pumpkin) is a species of annual herb in the family Cucurbitaceae. They are climbers. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States and The Neotropics. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Chyliza apicalis, Xenoglossa strenua, Oxybelus, and Paradidyma singularis. Individuals can grow to 4.5 m.
