Urena lobata (Caesarweed) is a species of shrub in the family Malvaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Rio Grande Do Sul, Santa Catarina, Pantanal, AmazôNia, Ceará, Maranhao, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Sergipe, SãO Paulo, Pampa, Alagoas, Bahia, Pará, Paraná, Tocantins, Minas Gerais, Puerto Rico, Cerrado, Mata AtlâNtica, U.S. Virgin Islands, Caatinga, Distrito Federal, GoiáS, ParaíBa, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Acre (Brazil), Mato Grosso, and Rio De Janeiro. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Bombus impatiens, Lasioglossum ernesti, Agapostemon splendens, and Heliconius charithonia. Individuals can grow to 1.9 m.
