Herissantia crispa (Bladdermallow) is a species of shrub in the family mallows. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Cerrado, Puerto Rico, The Neotropics, Pernambuco, Sergipe, U.S. Virgin Islands, The Contiguous United States, Bahia, Alagoas, and Caatinga. They have simple, broad leaves and loculicidal capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Polybia paulista and Polybia sericea.
