Amaranthus powellii (Powell's Amaranth) is a species of annual herb in the family pigweed. It has a self-supporting growth form. It is native to the contiguous United States and Canada. Powell's Amaranth has simple, broad leaves. It is a photoautotroph. Individuals can grow to 0.59 m. Reproduction is monoecious.
