Amaranthus viridis (Slender Amaranth) is a species of annual herb in the family Amaranthaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to US Minor Outlying Islands, U.S. Virgin Islands, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Individuals can grow to 0.4 m.
