Spergularia rubra is a species of annual herb in the family carpetweeds. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Syrphid fly, Eupeodes volucris, Sphaerophoria scripta, and Lasioglossum smeathmanellum. Individuals can grow to 0.11 m.
