Rhododendron occidentale (Azalea) is a species of shrub in the family Ericaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Western North America and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Monarch, Pale Swallowtail, Western Tiger Swallowtail, and bees & apoid Wasps. Individuals can grow to 10 feet.
