Sabella spallanzanii (European Fan Worm) is a species of segmented worms in the family feather duster worms. It is native to France, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Albania, Cyprus, Libya, Europe, Algeria, Asia, Slovenia, Croatia, Portugal, Mauritania, Lebanon, Spain, Italy, Egypt, Senegal, Western Sahara, Montenegro, Atlantic Coast of North America, Guinea-Bissau, Syria, Atlantic Coast of South America, Morocco, Greece, The Gambia, Israel, Tunisia, and Turkey. It is a suspension feeder. Individuals can grow to 200 mm. Reproduction is iteroparous and gonochoristic. European Fan Worm is a sessile animal.
