Slender perennial herb, up to 70 cm tall but mostly c. 35 cm tall, growing from corms. Leaf single, linear, c. 3-6 mm wide, channelled, usually longer than the flowering stem. Stem erect, unbranched. Flowers cream to pale yellow with darker yellow nectar guides. Outer tepals lanceolate, up to 35-50 mm long, slightly reflexed. Inner tepals lanceolate, 35 mm long, erect.
